Carry Me

Life is a journey I am travelin’ on
Don’t know where I’m goin’; don’t know for how long
Every step that I take each bend in the road
Leads me to somewhere I’m needing to go

Enfold me in the arms of the great Mystery
That flows like a river to the sea to the sea
Carry me, carry me back to the Source
That flows like a river to the sea

I’ve stumbled and tripped over stones in the road
Many times I have faltered didn’t know where to go
All the twists and the turns all the choices I made
Brought wisdom and courage to fall into Grace

Enfold me in the arms of the great Mystery
That flows like a river to the sea to the sea
Carry me, carry me back to the Source
That flows like a river to the sea
Only need to let go into the flow
Nowhere else to go but into the flow
Carry me, carry me back to the Source
That flows like a river to the sea

People and places, the love I have known,
Laughter and heartache, the places called “home”
Each moment a mem’ry a great precious gift
How could anything be sweeter than this?

Enfold me in the arms of the great Mystery
That flows like a river to the sea to the sea
Carry me, carry me back to the Source
That flows like a river to the sea
Carry me, carry me back to the Source
That flows like a river to the sea
