Woman on the Verge

When you came into my life
Things were so good, yeah, it all felt so right
Til you left me that night
And out went the light.

Now I sit here paralyzed
Dazed and amazed cuz I don’t even know why
I got mist in my eyes
Can this be my life?

You know you walked – out of my life
Now I gotta get you out of my head
I need to make room for the love I deserve
I’m a woman on the verge of a major purge

Memories of you mess up my head
Things spinning out of control
Time heals all wounds or so they say
I need to take charge
Cuz life is short
And I just can’t wait
To choose my own fate!

It’s time to make a new start
Pluck your dagger from my sad broken heart
I’m much better off
Now that we’re apart

No more will I feel blue
Cleanin’ my closets now I’m making some room
To open my heart
To a new pair of shoes

You know you walked – out of my life
Now I gotta get you out of my head
I need to make room for the love I deserve
I’m a woman on the verge of a major purge
We are women on the verge of a major splurge
